	1：简明而要，避免事事俱到（少罗嗦） Provide a summary version to avoid making everyone go over every, single detail. 2. 永远不要假设你的读者读到你的报告的第二段！所以尽量把报告的第一段尽量搞的好一些 Never assume your audience will read beyond the first paragraph, so make that paragraph a good one. 3. 用具体清晰的细节说明问题 Quantify findings with concrete, clear detail, e.g., break down overall savings from a project by month and department. 4. 报告尽量用sidebar, bullet points,图，避免用大段的文字 Break up your report with sidebars, bullet points and graphicsto avoid endless streams of uninterrupted text. 5. 讲故事，无论真假 Use narratives – whether real or hypothetical – to humanize your report's contentions. 以下大家自己翻译 6. Better Budgeting Don't set hard targets for more than one year out. You can't determine market changes for any longer than that. 7. Better Budgeting Highlight savings opportunities; provide quick comparisons other strategies; show that you know what things cost. 8. Smarter Statistics Understand how data was determined, and be ready to explain it. 13. Smarter Statistics Check your math. If a number looks funny, verify it with the primary source. 14. Smarter Statistics Know the stats that coun-ter your position. That way, you'll be best positioned to defend yourself.
