Purpose of the Job
Drive Execution of the allocated Project(s) scope to maximise the results of the global Project(s) with respect to Cash and Margin, whilst delivering the Project on time, in conformity with the Contract and managing the Customer expectations.

Mission
Accountabilities
 Plan and manage the complete execution of a project specific scope from Contract signature to close out, in line with Contract requirement. Lead a Project team, and report to the Project Director.
 Ensure completion of Project specific scope to meet the Project Performance goals / contract requirements
 Responsible and accountable for the Project specific scope delivery

The Project Manager CONTROLS AND MONITORS the following:
 All KPI’s of the project scope, such as Gross/Net Margin, On Time Delivery, Cash-Flow, project risk- and contingency development
 Process performance
 Suppliers, Contractors

The Project Manager INFORMS, CONSULTS, AGREES with the Business Management and (if required) the local Unit Management and/or Function Management the following actions relating to:
 Business Management: Actions/incidents that have a significant impact on the overall performance of the business or/and ALSTOM’s reputation
 Local/Functional Management: Human resources reviews, Resource Management and development

Candidate Requirements
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
 University degree in engineering, or similar qualification. Alternatively experience gained in large capital plant Project Management complemented by training.
Optional:
 Background in contract law, claim management, etc
 PMP(Project Management Professional) certification provided by the Project Management Institute would be a plus

Knowledge / Experience
Mandatory:
 3 years of relevant industrial experience, 1 year of experience in a Project Team as Construction and site experience
 Specific Business Product knowledge
Optional:
 Contracting, planning and scheduling, Legal and claim management, Sales, Purchasing, Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies
