Duties include:
Project Management of approved projects.
Act as the single point of contact for nominated interaction between IBM and the Client and/or other vendors (eg. 3rd party suppliers)
Act as Primary Contact for the project and perform the required Management activities in compliance with agreed standards and processes. These activities include estimating, tracking of financial status, and IBM and Client reporting of the project
Agree on requirements, deliverables, target dates, cost and 3rd party dependencies
Change Management of Client requirements/scope for the project
Manage impact of changes to the project and Priorities on the delivery organisation
Reporting & Tracking of project progress
Facilitation and coordination of timely delivery of all project components, work products and deliverables
Work with Delivery Teams to obtain any release schedule data required to assist in the scheduling and management of the project
Escalation of project related RAID (Risk Action Issue Dependency) items where appropriate to IBM Management, Client, delivery hierarchy and 3rd parties
Other related activities:
Creating and maintaining PCB (Project Control Book) for the project
Schedule, chair meetings and prepare minutes from each meeting including project Kickoff
Provide Client required project reporting as specified by the PDR (Project Definition Report)
Provide IBM internal project status reports as required for the project
Overall project planning & scheduling
Ensure that IBM has complete financial coverage for all undertaken activities
Ensure that IBM and 3rd parties (where applicable) have aligned schedules where there are interdependencies between projects

6+ years experience
Applied knowledge of Project Management and Office tools
Experience in a process driven environment

Technical Skills
Good knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Demonstrated project management skills in a complex environment
Excellent inter personal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level attention to detail
PMI Certified

Qualification Details
Essential: Graduate from an institution of repute
Preferred Degree/Diplomas would include Information Technology; Engineering or Science
PMI Certified

Self Confident
Be Proactive and flexible in their approach to work
Specific Platform experience in either Intel, AIX, Unix, Mainframe, networks and other infrastructure.
