Team members came up with around 100 questions need my defence. Some of them were really tough. I have spent almost 1 and half an hour to answer them. Personally, I think I made it and satisfied with team member's expectation. I think this action is really helpful to a new manager to work with team together and eliminate some misunderstanding between us. Of course, we know each other more deeper than before. There were also some tough question and embarrassed ocasion actually. But I think you neednt have any concerns on that because the HR will handle that as a facilitator. For example, if there is a tough question you dont' know how do you ansuwer that you could ask for HR whether you could answer that later. Or, if you answer a question in a improper way which makes team members feel uncomfortable, HR will try to mitigate the atomsphere. From my perspective, I recommand asimmulation for you especially when you are a team's new manager.
very nice , i hope wml write more article in project management . i admire you can speak much english , my english is very poor ,but i believe one day ,i can speak much english . i think achieve a project is difficult for PM, PM need to communication with member , PM need to communication with the customer. PM have to balance this project ,PM need to control the project . but i think this is the charm of the project . project can ask you to find pleasure. i have done the PM there years . i had worked for the communication equipment manufacture. i want to say , project give many pleasure and sadly . but this is my love. i will continue to do PM , and i hope my dreams come ture . i know my english is very poor ,but i want to talk with wml , i hope you can write more article for us.
