New Certification Online System Goes Live 30 August 2005. PMI’s new Web-based Online application and certification system is designed to allow all credentialed members to take a more active role in their credentialing process, and to receive information about their status at a much faster rate than before. The look and feel of the system is user-friendly, allowing each candidate to create a user name and password, thus gaining continuous access to their certification records. Features include: - Automatic e-mail notifications when their applications are approved or when additional information is needed. - Instant audit notification and downloadable forms needed to complete this process. - Self-service approach – features access to copies of receipts, score reports and notification of eligibility status directly obtained from the online system. - Candidates, living in areas that do not have computer-based testing centers can now register and schedule online for paper-based exam administrations. - Online application for both Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credentials – globally. - All credentialed members, PMPs and CAPMs can access their certification records at any time. But that’s not all - candidates can look forward to even more system enhancements in the future.
