Description: This project started from April in 2002 till July in 2005, and was an integrative system,which included finance,monitor,basic manage three softwares used in the National Cost Stations. It did help the National Cost Stations to work effectivly. One of project deliverables has been given to customers, including finance,monitor,basic manage three software install-packages and software codes. Another was kept by company, including project files and lessons learned.
Project 1: National Road Toll Collection System. Apr.2002 - May. 2005 'National Road Toll Collection System' was an integrative system which including finance,monitor,basic manage subsystem and was used in the National Cost Stations. It would help the National Cost Stations to work more effectivly. 1.Initiating Process approx. 176 hours The company signed the contract to develop the system software and I was assigned as the PM of software system. I made the project charter for the project and the project charter was approved by the CEO later. 2.Planning Process approx. 704 hours We team members developed the scope of the project according to the project charter, and decomposed it into a WBS.We also made other plans of cost, schedule, risk analysis, supporting details and adjusted these plans many times During this phase. At last,all plans were approved by CEO. 3.Executing Process approx. 3520 hours During the execution process, I directed and managed team members to perform project plans. We team members developed system software on schedule and installed system software in the National Cost Stations,and ensure the system software in used well. 4.Controlling Process approx. 528 hours We collected and distributed performance information which includes status reporting, progress measurement, and forecasting. Because of the customer often changed or added their requirement,we changed the schedule and cost according to approved change requests 5.Closing Process approx. 120 hours We made the formal acceptance for the software after running for half three months. We analyzed project success or failure, gather lessons learned, and archive project information for future use.
